Y Solve Ecosystem, New Venture Development

We are business builders with unique perspectives on how to build and continually improve invention and innovation systems at scale.

At Y Solve Lab our portfolio pipeline has 201 internally developed companies that we will build over the next 7-8 years.

At the inception of Y Solve Lab, we asked consultants and advisors one key question:

"How can organizations fundamentally improve the way they operate in an era of rapid technological change?"

Responses were:

  1. Streamline and optimize core business processes
  2. Upgrade technology platforms
  3. Develop products that address new market opportunities
  4. Innovate business models
  5. Utilize data to gain insights
  6. Use AI to make processes more efficient 

We found those responses to be woefully insufficient. Not only did they add no differentiated value, but we experienced the following frustrations: 

  1. What was communicated as “Discovery” was simply sophisticated knowledge capture without commensurate value coming back to us
  2. There was an a lack of codification of systems thinking
  3. The advisors we encountered lacked experience in growing and scaling innovative enterprises themselves

So what did we do?

In order to build portfolio companies that accelerate value creation with differentiated economics, we invented the Adaptive and Intelligent Operating System℠ which is comprised of Frameworks as Solutions℠ and a logic system.

We recognized that many organizations face the same frustrations we experienced when working with traditional consulting firms, particularly those organizations constrained by human capital, financial capital, or legacy systems: corporations, nonprofits, universities, and municipalities.
